Dying Taught Me Revenge

Emily Thompson sponsored a poor student named Grace Davis. Grace Davis was the daughter of Emily's husband, Michael Johnson, by his mistress, Mary Davis. Emily had a custom gown made for her own daughter, Sophia Thompson, and Grace Davis wore it in secret. Emily learned of the gown and of the parentage and went home to put it to them. Michael Johnson, Mary Davis and Grace Davis killed her there. Sophia Thompson died at the same scene. Emily Thompson is then returned to an earlier point in her life, before any of it has happened. She destroys the gown. She exposes Grace Davis, Mary Davis and Michael Johnson in front of other people and has all three put out of the house. Grace Davis keeps pressing Sophia Thompson after that, and at one point arranges with others to have Sophia's innocence destroyed. Sophia's biological father, who is a different man from Michael Johnson, steps in together with Emily and stops it.
