绝世神偷

Shen Yan carries the Northern school of the Rongmen tradition, and he travels to Jiangcheng to honor a betrothal made for him. On the road he catches Jiang Yingxue taking money that was set aside for an old man's medical care, and he stops her, because the school's rule about doing good is not decorative to him. In Jiangcheng, Wu Bin of the Southern school arrives to test skills. Jiang Yinghong cannot hold the line against him, and Shen Yan wins the exchange with methods nobody there has seen. Wu Bin then goes over to Chen Xiaotian, the man who years ago broke the Shen family's fortunes, and Chen Xiaotian sends people to keep Shen Yan off the road. At the gathering of the Northern and Southern Rongmen, Chen Xiaotian brings his people in behind him and starts squeezing Jiang Yinghong's territory. Shen Yan goes up on the platform and takes the two of them in turn through the orthodox skills of the school, lockwork, identifying by sound, close work. Chen Xiaotian's own trusted men watch the exchanges and quietly decide which side is in the right.
