Beauty and the Beast Mates

Harper Davis is a veterinarian who dies in an accident and wakes in a matriarchal beast world as Maeve, the eldest senior disciple of the Stormcloud Sect, hated by everyone there. The woman she replaced had a cruel streak and liked hurting males, and after a rival named Qingluo saddled her with four supposedly worthless beast husbands as a humiliation, she took it out on those four harder still. She was murdered on her wedding day. Harper arrives knowing the story, including the fact that all four husbands come from backgrounds nobody in the sect suspects, and she goes through with marrying them. Her Core is shattered and her Spirit Power is gone, and she is bound to the Underdog System, which tells her she has to become the next war goddess or be erased. She starts by winning the four over, which is slow work since they assume she is still the same person. She hatches a rare phoenix beastman in front of the people who mocked her, defends the husbands during the wedding, and stays with one of them through a beast transformation at the point where leaving would have been sensible. Qingluo, meanwhile, wants the beast god's mark for herself and is willing to wreck the sect to take it.
