The Fox Queen and Her Strong Husbands

Aveline chooses Darius at the Consort Selection Ceremony. He is a wildcat who has only just awakened, first level, and in choosing him she passes over the man who betrayed her in her previous life. Aveline is a nine-tailed fox, the eldest princess of her clan, and she has been reborn into this ceremony with that previous life still in her memory. She shows the clan her beast core, one of the highest grade that carries every element, and the clan is stunned by it. She uses what she remembers to bring Darius along, helping him devour and evolve, and she takes the Four Great Divine Beasts, the Black Turtle, the Vermilion Bird, the Azure Dragon and the White Tiger, as her beast consorts too. Her younger sister Valeria is plotting against her, together with Malakor, the evil dragon. The fighting begins over territory and goes on to the throne of the demon realm, and Aveline gathers her forces for it.
