Serpents Back for Blood: Justice with Fangs

The frame-up that put Fitzroy Lowe in prison was the work of Jonah Shaw and of Madeline Jones, who was his wife. He was the richest man in Riverton at the time. He served ten years, and while he was inside the two of them took the business and everything else that was his. Some years before that, on a night of heavy rain, Fitzroy had saved a giant black serpent. It was a small thing to do and he forgot about it. He came out of prison with nothing. Jonah Shaw and Madeline Jones went on humiliating him, and his daughter was knocked around as well, on the reckoning that a man in that position has no way of hitting back. The serpent came back to repay him, bringing a force of powerful people along with it, and it set about helping him deal with the ones who had put him away.
