The Melon Seller Is the King

Bentley wants his son Sam to come up the way ordinary men do, and he cannot have that while anyone knows whose son Sam is. Bentley is the power behind Apex Constructions. He puts Sam on one of the company's sites as a hand and takes a stall in the night market next to it, selling melons and other fruit, and tells nobody at either place who he is. One of the men under Bentley has a son, Hunter, who trades on his father's position to lean on people wherever he goes. Hunter picks Sam out, takes Sam's girlfriend off him, and holds him down at every opportunity. Bentley comes over from the fruit stall and says who he is. Hunter has never heard the name, does not believe it, and carries on, and then Hunter's father arrives at the site.
