Out of Prison, Into War

Ten years ago Edward went to prison in place of the man who taught him, and took the sentence for something he had not done. He comes out on early release wanting a quiet life in the city near his family. A minor traffic incident turns into a demand for $50,000, and he stays behind to settle it, putting Helena and her crew down without much effort. More men arrive and threaten his sister-in-law, and he goes through all of them alone. A business leader watching the fight recognizes him. After that he is visible again. The Blue Cloud gang comes looking for him, and so does the head of the city's chamber of commerce. Johnny, an enemy from before his sentence, comes back at him. The chamber president sets up his brother for a crime and has his sister-in-law taken. Edward finds out in the course of it that the secret organization he once answered to arranged the case that cost him ten years and turned on his mentor. He stops holding back and goes in with the Blue Cloud gang to clear the informers out of it, break the organization and get his family back.
