Exiled and Empowered

Bryan Jagger served five years in Darkhold Prison for a crime his girlfriend Claire Smith committed. While he was inside he came by a griffin kidney, which made him far stronger than he had been. He goes to find Claire when he gets out and learns she is with her boss, Perry Wright, and that the two of them arranged his imprisonment between them. With nowhere to go, Bryan meets Luna Gray, who runs Rydor Corp. She hires him as her assistant, and the two of them grow close. The griffin kidney's power carries a backlash, and Luna's own unusual constitution is what holds it off. Word gets out about Bryan's rank inside Darkhold Prison, and people he crossed before come looking for him. He uses the kidney's strength and what standing he has at the prison to deal with them and to keep the people around him safe.
