Little Devil, Hands Off!

The country's lithography machines came out of one research programme, and the woman who led it was Kane Talbot, who had a national medal of honour for the work. She was flying to the capital to have her baby. Henry Smith, who ran a transport group, heard she was coming and went out to the airport to meet her, because his company needed what she knew. On the plane Kane ran into Henry's son Abel and Henry's mother Maggie. Abel took her case, which had the blueprints for the machine and the first microchip off the line in it, and destroyed what was inside. Kane started bleeding and the labour began early. Henry was still waiting at the airport when the plane landed. Kane came off it badly hurt. Abel and Maggie were standing beside her, pleased with themselves.
