Ivy is the head of the Anti-Noah Alliance, a group that has spread through the whole school against Noah, the campus heartthrob. She was pushed into the post. She writes erotica, and she happened on Noah and a woman teacher together and filmed them in secret. That made her his target. The school pairs the two of them as tutor and student to work on their Ivy League applications. The hostility wears down into a wary study of each other, with lies on both sides, a contest over who holds the upper hand, and the rest of the school working itself into a frenzy around them.
