Bubble Trouble: The Genius Edition

Nora's father needs an operation, and the money for it rests on the university place she has already been given at one of the two best schools in the country. On the morning of the college entrance exam she reports herself for cheating. She makes sure the crib sheet is seen, and what it carries is answers to a paper nobody has sat yet. The hall goes up, and the place and the surgery money both go with it. She does not take any of it back. The inspection team goes over the sheet and finds the answers on it match the official ones for the next day's paper exactly, which puts her under suspicion of taking state secrets. Her teacher presses her for a reason and her parents beg her for one. The classmates who believed in her, the boy she grew up with among them, change sides. She explains nothing to any of them. The team then confirms that no exam paper was leaked.
