Synopsis
Louis Kean was middle-aged when he announced that he was taking up cultivation. He left the family and went to the mountain. The people who knew him said he had lost his mind. At forty-five he finished it. The ascension ceremony was under way when his son rang him. Louis Kean took the call, then worked out a reading on his fingers, and the reading was the end of his line. He announced that the ascension was suspended. He went back down the mountain into the ordinary world.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<
