Betrayed Zora Rules All

Dee Reynolds arrives in an interstellar world without meaning to and, soon after, wakes a system that answers only to her. People there put obstacles in her way from the start, some of them set deliberately, and she gets past them with what the system gives her and her own judgement. The politics where she lands are unsettled, and she brings them back under control. She then finds energy sources rare enough to matter to the whole empire, and between that and the ground she has already taken, she works her way into imperial power. Her mental abilities wake later and turn out to be strong, and she is named heir on that basis. Her intention after that is to take the empire out further into the stars.
