Captive In Mafia King’s Embrace

Dante Moretti runs the New York mafia, and the part of the city he works out of is closed to people who have no business there. Elena has just graduated and needs money for her mother's surgery when she crosses into it and is taken to him. The terms he offers are a million dollars for seven days as his eleventh mistress. If she turns them down, her mother goes without the operation. She stays in his house through a fight over power that has nothing to do with her. His enemies come after her more than once, and he puts himself between her and them at a cost to himself, which is not what she expected from a man she had been afraid of. Her own resistance gives out somewhere in the week. When the seven days are up she has to choose between her freedom and staying where she is.
