Blood&Daughters

Six years ago Sera spent one night with a man whose face she never saw, and she was carrying twin girls by the time her sisters decided what to do about it. They cut one of the infants away from her, threw her off a cliff, and let the world believe the baby had died with the mother. Sera lived. The fall woke the phoenix blood in her, and she raised the daughter she still had, alone, with no idea that the other one was alive. That child was being brought up by Kael, the Dragon King, who was the man from that night and who had been told Sera was dead. He spent six years looking for her anyway. Sera comes back to settle what her family did to her. Kael stays near her without saying who he is. The two girls find each other first, and once they do, the story their families built starts coming apart a piece at a time until all four of them are standing on the same side of it.
