Love Caught Fangs and Claws

Yuri is in high school and gets nothing at home. His adoptive parents keep what they have for their own son. At school he is the one people pick on. He is friendly about all of it, quick to put other people first, and none of what it costs him shows. Then a vampire lands in his swimming pool. Brian is the heir of a clan that has lost its position, and for centuries he has held to his father's rule that a vampire does not drink human blood. His enemy has just taken out half his heart with one strike, and he should not have survived the fall. Yuri's blood is what keeps him alive. Brian wants more of the blood. He follows Yuri around without being seen. Lucius, a werewolf, stays close to Yuri and takes whatever comes at him, and Brian starts minding that a good deal more than the blood explains. Yuri does not know that his blood brings the dead back, or that he was not born human. Other people find out, come after him for it, and put him in a position where he has to choose between Brian and Lucius.
