I Became the CEO's Most Beloved

On her eighteenth wedding anniversary Erin Vance found her husband Derek together with Sofia, her closest friend. Derek is a divorce lawyer with a name in the field. He humiliated her over what she had walked in on. Their daughter Mia stayed out of it. Erin left the house with no money of her own. She went to a loan company run by Gavin Bower, an old acquaintance, and turned what she got there into an entry stake for the Miss Intercontinental contest by way of a bet at a race. Erin's work as a stylist was solid and she used it through the rounds, coming up through the field. Sofia entered the same contest. Erin found the payments Sofia had made to the judges and the other contestants Sofia had leaned on, and she brought all of it into the open. Gavin stood behind her from the loan onward. He is the president of K Group, which sponsors the contest, and he let her get through the rounds on her own account without telling her.
