The Billionaire Parents' Final Test

Hannah Lynch and her husband run a business worth 50 million dollars. To find out what their sons actually think of them, the two of them stage a bankruptcy, and the husband pretends a stroke has left him paralyzed. Their biological son Thomas is asked for 30,000 dollars to cover the treatment that would save his father's life. He refuses. In the same stretch he spends 88,000 dollars at a spa, and he and his wife lock the parents out of the house. The adopted son Theo and his wife empty the savings they had set aside for the birth of their baby and hand it over for the father's care. Hannah and her husband then leave the entire 50 million to Theo and take back everything they had given Thomas, who is left without a cent. Thomas and his wife divorce and end up scraping by at the bottom. The family does not fully reconcile, but each of them starts over.
