Synopsis

There was a heavy mech inside the toy store. The police went in after a fugitive who had holed up there and found the machine instead. By the Academy of Sciences' reckoning it mattered ten thousand times more than the man they had come to arrest. Word reached the scientific community and professors turned up to look at it, and one old scholar fainted. Somebody had built the thing and it was standing there.

Episode 1 might make you go "what IS this lunatic" and bail. He's my favorite short-drama actor and even I hesitated. Please stay with it!! The acting is unreal, the way his eyes go, the way he smiles, each one gets me >_<

My favorite of his modern-set work and honestly my favorite short drama full stop. You get the complete unhinged-psycho performance, and I'd say his acting leveled up here. If you're working through his filmography, this is the one.
