In this world there are Saints and Saintesses, sects with their own leaders, and a Grand Tournament where standing is settled in front of everyone. There is also a way to turn discarded things into treasures, and it works through a broken bowl. August Cross had been a Saint with a name people respected before he was reduced to the Saintess's plaything. The bowl comes to him and what is worthless in his hands stops being worthless.
