The man who killed Kael Ashford's parents has just come back into view as a respected War God, and Kael means to make him pay for it. Kael has been trying to find out the truth about his parents' deaths for some time. In this world everyone awakens a beast soul, and Kael's awakening was rated D, which made him the academy's punching bag. At the awakening ceremony his girlfriend humiliated him in front of everyone and left him. What nobody around him knows is that he awakened seven divine beasts, the Monkey King among them, which makes him the only Ultra SSS rank alive. After the breakup he went into a beast trial that no one had ever come out of and awakened the Kirin there. Kael has no intention of stepping back, and the conflict between the two of them grows.
