Demon Hunters: Home Edition

A man in a mental hospital wakes up with a power he cannot account for, and other people with abilities, each with a different temperament, gather around him. The people around him cannot tell whether what woke in him is madness or something that might save them all, or whether he will turn into something that has to be feared. Outside the hospital, governments have collapsed and monsters hold the cities. Some people have turned on their own kind and gone over to the invaders to stay alive, and others have sworn to defend what is left. The hospital opens its doors and the patients walk out to fight. They are unpredictable and hard to stop. His group is among the last people still holding out, and they defend the safe zone, the last home any of them has, as the waves of monsters grow and the fighting gets heavier.
