Slept Through the End of Nine Suns

Aurelian sleeps while everyone around him works. Nine suns sit in the sky and none of them set, so there is no night, and the rule of the world is that heaven pays back the diligent, which makes rest a heresy. He came here from another world and woke a system that makes him stronger the longer he stays asleep. In his dreams he opens the realm of rest. From there he kicks the suns hard enough to break them, brings demon beasts to heel, and takes apart what the Nine Suns Cult has been arranging under the permanent daylight. A sacred beast and the first of the shadows come over to him. He fights the head of the cult and a god working alongside it, and then his own shadow turns on him. The suns go out one after another and the endless day ends with them.
