Mech‑Building Dad Called to Serve

Ethan Cross came into this time from another one, and he knows how machines will be built years ahead of the country he now lives in. He keeps a small life and works with his hands, and most of what he does is for his daughter. In the garage he builds her a mecha. She takes it out without telling him and drives it in public, and the story of it travels across the country. The military traces the machine back to Ethan and brings him in to run defense work. With their backing he sets up a steel plant and develops the J50 fighter. Rivals in the industry who had dismissed him lose to him as the program goes on. Another country makes attempts on the technology and stages military provocations while he is running it.
