If She's Trouble, I'm Double

Sang Man spends her days plotting against the man who wronged her and the woman he left her for, with no room left in her life for anything else. She meets Zhou Jingzhi, a young heir known for his sly, unreadable manner, at a point when she has already decided how the two of them, her ex and his mistress, will pay for what they did to her. Zhou Jingzhi falls for her almost immediately, to the point of obsession. He offers to act as her lover in name only, willing to be seen as the other man, the third party, if it means staying close to her. Sang Man accepts the arrangement without returning his feelings. When she moves against the scumbag, Zhou Jingzhi hands her the means to do it. When she sets a trap, he stands guard around it so nothing goes wrong. Together they corner the ex-boyfriend and the mistress, exposing what they did and stripping away what they built on Sang Man's downfall. The two fight back, using their own connections and money to try to turn the situation around. Sang Man and Zhou Jingzhi meet each countermove with another of their own, working the same companies and boardrooms their enemies once controlled. Their campaign spreads through the business world, unseating rivals and picking up ground with each round, until the two of them are the ones holding the top positions, still bound to each other through the arrangement that started it all.
