Rising Beyond the Tempest

Around the same time she learns that the boy she has been raising is not her son. Irene tells no one that she can see. She goes on behaving as a blind wife in front of her husband and the nanny while she works out how to get back at them. From inside that pretence she nudges the two into suspecting each other and brings their affair into the open. During this time she also meets a woman who delivers food. The courier's own life is in a bad way, and the two women end up looking out for each other.
