Betrayed? I'm Your Rival's Wife Now!

Charlotte Gray wanted Ethan Collins to say in public what had actually happened during the month she and Chloe Denvers spent in the hands of their kidnappers. Chloe was his first love, and Chloe was the one who had been assaulted. When both women turned out to be pregnant a month later, Ethan told it the other way round, that his wife was the one who had been raped and that the child she carried belonged to another man. Charlotte had divorce papers drawn up and sent to him. She waited until a crowd had gathered, then went through his phone in front of them and read out everything he had kept from her. She buried the unborn child. After that nobody could find her. Years later Ethan tracked her down. She was on the arm of his biggest rival, married again and with a child. "I'm remarried. I have a child. Stop looking for me." The household she was living in had her brother in it, his wife, and a husband who treated her as an equal.
