Exiled, Armed, and Unstoppable

Luther Irwin worked as a special agent in the present day. He woke up in the body of a prince of Da Qian who had been left to grow up outside the palace. Someone fixed a charge on him that he had not committed, and he was sent to a women's penal camp out past the settled country. He broke ground there for crops, set up a forge and made weapons, and put together enough of a force to keep the camp standing. Shen Qingning, a general, got him out of a fight he would not have survived on his own. Xiongnu riders came down on the camp and it nearly went under. Luther used what he knew about modern warfare to help Shen Qingning pull the survivors into a single unit, which they called the Death Camp, and the two of them laid ambushes and drove the raiders back. He also turned up who inside Da Qian had been selling the country to them, which bore on the case that had ruined the Shen family. In the capital the fight over the throne broke open. The emperor called him back, and his mother, who had wanted him dead once, started moving pieces again.
